Sim Chan 陳閃

Sim Chan, graduated from Hong Kong Art School, Major in Painting.

Depicting the local cityscape and the urban architecture, Chan’s work expresses his observation and tactile sense of his city. Base on the concept of painting, contemplate on self and the city’s context, document on his exploration between imagination and reality. Apart from this depiction, his work desires to reach beyond the usual format of painting as a medium; therefore, experiments and studies on various painting materials have become his recent subject of interest.
